This song jumps in to my head at any time of the day.  Lately, I find my daydreams drifting towards my salvation...my divinity.  As I become more and more aware of the illusion that I am living in,  I find myself welcoming these extraordinary changes towards my evolution....humanity's evolution!! 

We are beings of free will....of polarity, in this Third density.  Instead of trying to pen point all of the good and bad guys, I find myself having faith that everyone is doing exactly as they should be. 

Sending love to all of the souls and beings on the planet.  Who am I to decide who and who doesn't deserve love....EVERYONE does!!!! When we realize this as a whole we will move on to our real lives.

I once read a story similar to the one below:

A group of angels, in the same soul group, are sitting around planning their next incarnations. (and having a great time with it)

They each will be volunteering to play very specific roles.  

When it came to the sinister politician's role no one stepped up, until finally an angel stepped forward...one of the BRAVEST of the brave! 

He said "I will do it, but just promise me one thing.  Promise me that you'll tell me you love me!"

One of the other angels said "You know we love you!"

The brave one said "I know.... and I you, my friend, but you have to remember.  When I go to Earth to take this role, I will be hated, surrounded by negativity, and ridiculed constantly.  I will submerge myself so fully in this role that I might never remember who I truly am, unless you remind me and tell me you love me!"

Could looking at the universe from this perspective be exactly what we need to move on to our divine inheritance?

Today's song is.... Right in Two by Tool!  The lyrics of this song say it all.

Free will was given to us by our Creator....half of us chose to do good and the other half chose to take advantage of the first half by creating a fake reality full of lies and deceit. Most of us have spent lifetimes waking up to this fact and some of us still have a ways to go.  The good news is that we will all get there in time!! The weird news is that the half that chose to take advantage, are only playing their own part in the great awakening of humanity.  It took me MUCH time to realize this, because for the longest time I wanted to despise them.  There are still times when I struggle with it but I choose not to focus on it  The light will always win over the dark and that is just Truth!  Please read the lyrics and enjoy!

This song struck a cord with me ....as I was awakening and becoming aware of the many traps for me to fall in or for humanity to fall in actually.... I hear THEY BOTH SEE THE TRAPS.... LET IT COME AND LET IT BE....Every single day there will be tests....it's how you choose to handle them that matters.  Once you become able to identify them they are easier to spot and prepare for;)  or sometimes there is a need to just let it be....We could all use a good dose of living in the moment...in the NOW!  Enjoy!

Phaeleh- Afterglow feat. Soundmouse

The song I'm going to talk about today is Afterglow by Phaeleh.  One day I was doing some housework and ....I heard "Taking control of the elements, making them mine, making them mine."  That struck a cord within me, because lately I have been very aware of the "elements"....  Earth, Air, Fire, Water and what they mean to me and how to show appreciation to them.  I have always had a very strong connection with nature and it's a connection that just gets stronger and stronger.  Almost daily, I take my son on nature walks and I try and explain to him how everything is ALIVE!!  We ALL are conscious beings and should be treated as such!  I feel my son is very sensitive to this fact and his reactions to trees, animals, and such prove it.  He'll see a certain tree and stop dead in his tracks just staring at it.  He see's what I can't...yet :)
This song also talks about " taking a hold of the present day" and living in the NOW.  Manifesting your life as you want it to be and being responsible for it. Maybe Afterglow helped me to be more present in each moment.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!

BJORK, BJORK and more BJORK

Having grown up in the 90's, I was aware of Bjork's music/art/personality.  There were a few songs I liked,  hunter, human behavior, army of me....pretty much the stuff they played on the radio.  Why is it that some of the most awesome songs on albums are NOT played on the radio?  Always wanted to know that...  So jump forward from the 90's to 2010.  I rediscover BJORK in a major way!!!  Be prepared to hear A LOT about her in this blog's future...one song at a time. That's how much her music has impacted me!!!!

First, a little about what I LOVE about Bjork!!!  She is TRUE to herself, no matter how strange she may seem to others. All music is art....but after a while of being in the business a lot of musicians lose their artistic touch.  Bjork seems to just get more and more artistic as she ages.  She experiments with different organic sounds, like ice crunching under your feet.  Maybe I just love her because it is obvious that she has a deep love of nature...as do I! I love that she likes to play with and manipulate her voice.  Her outfits, costumes, hair, and face paint ...along with her music force you to think outside the box.  Plus the messages expressed in her songs are wonderfully awesome.  So give her a listen, you won't regret it!!

This song snuck up on me one day while I was doing laundry and listening to Pandora.  All, of a sudden

I heard a sultry female voice sing YOUR EXISTENCE....and then I was like what's this... I kind of like that!!!  Then the verse really hit home.  She whispered to me...CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'VE PASSED THE TEST..NOW STEP UP AND JOIN THE REST!  I was so glad to have found this song on my journey! Maybe you will like it too.....

Going A Different Direction

I have decided to take this blog in a different direction and I'll tell you why.  There are a plethora of "ascension" blogs and websites (some of which I will list at the end of this post). They are packed full of useful information!! Most likely when you discover one, you will discover several more quickly, because they are like a community. I will still post my thoughts on certain subtopics of truth, ascension, transcendence,etc. because those are things I encounter on a daily basis, but music will be my main focus!!!!!  The music that has spoken to me and helped me along the way!  I have not seen any blogs or sites that speak of "ascension soundtracks"...so that's what I'm going to do.  I'm hoping that as this blog progresses, I can meet others with the same interests that might be able to recommend their "ascension soundtracks"  I look forward to it!!!
